The central hub for the global spread of Dhammakaya Buddhist teachings.
In 2009 (B.E. 2552), Venerable Phra Dhammajayo envisioned the construction of a building to serve as a memorial and tribute to Master Nun Khun Yai Chand Khonnokyoong. This building is intended to be a central hub for the global dissemination of the Dhammakaya Buddhist teachings.
The structure is a round building with four surrounding ancillary buildings, each located at the four cardinal directions. The facility is designed to accommodate various important activities of Wat Phra Dhammakaya. It will function as the main office, a place for studying and learning Buddhist scriptures, a repository for ancient manuscripts, a large meditation hall for the fourfold assembly, an academic conference room for international Buddhist studies, a studio for broadcasting and live streaming Dhamma programs via satellite, and a Buddhist library, among other purposes.
Construction began in November 2009.

Venerable Luang Pu of Wat Pak Nam was highly dedicated to the global dissemination of Dhammakaya teachings. Even before his passing, he entrusted Khun Yai Chand with the continuation of this mission. Although both of them have departed from this world, their noble aspiration has not faded away, as it has been passed on to us.
Therefore, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Khun Yai Chand, Venerable Phra Dhammajayo established the 100-Year-Old Building in honor of Master Nun Khun Yai Chand Khonnokyoong . This building is intended to serve as a central hub for the global spread of Dhammakaya Buddhist teachings.
The 100-Year-Old Building in honor of Khun Yai Chand has been designed to be distinctive and majestic. The central feature of the building is a round structure, a timeless universal shape. The design concept emphasizes “minimal cost, maximum benefit” and reflects the principles of “cleanliness, brightness, and tranquility.”

In addition, the round shape symbolizes the dissemination of the Dhammakaya teachings aimed at guiding all people towards attaining the “Dhamma Light” and the “Inner Dhammakaya,” which are the true essence present within every human being.
